I worship constitution & Democracy.I believe that political party with the majority in the general election,should be the the party to led the government.But when the party,which is leading the government tires to act against democracy and liberty,then,there should be a strong institution within the state to stop the move.
The struggle against the undemocratic move or intention should never be about left or right .It should be about defending the independence of institutions that will keep a particular political party from becoming the only political party in the future.
The truth is that democracy can be challenged from within,as the experience in Honduras has shown.President Mel Zelaya was trying to reshape the Honduran Constitution to his liking.The Supreme Court ruled his referendum unconstitutional, and it instructed the military not to carry out the logistics of the vote as it normally would do.The top military commander, Gen. Romeo Vásquez Velásquez, told the president that he would have to comply. Mr. Zelaya promptly fired him. The Supreme Court ordered him reinstated.
